5-series

The BMW 5 Series has played the role of the "middle child" in the BMW luxury sedan lineup for nearly 50 years. Over the years, it has gained a reputation for achieving a perfect balance between the sporty and compact 3 Series and the spacious and luxurious 7 Series. The entire car series offers three smooth and smooth powertrains: the 530i is equipped with an active four-cylinder engine, the 540i is equipped with a powerful in-line six-cylinder engine, and the top-of-the-line 550e features a seamless plug-in hybrid system. This versatile strategy worked quite well for the latest generation of the 5 Series, but it sacrificed some of the sporty qualities found in smaller BMW models-and its own predecessors-to better reflect a smooth, business-class style.
