As the spiritual twin of the M3 sedan, the 2026 BMW M4 brings the same strong driving passion in both two-door and convertible body forms. There are two options in terms of power: the basic version is equipped with a 473-horsepower twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, and after upgrading to the Competition version, the output power is increased to 523 horsepower. The basic M4 comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, while the Competition version features an eight-speed automatic transmission and provides an optional four-wheel drive system. The chassis adjustment is specially designed for precise corners, and the dynamic performance of the M4 can be at its best only in the hands of a determined and focused driver. However, even in daily driving, its suspension is hard and the road feel is rough. The interior is stylish, the appearance is aggressive, and the exhaust noise is quite exciting. Its main competitors include the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and the Mercedes-AMG C63.
