The Ford GT Mk IV supercar will be officially discontinued after the end of the 2023 model year. To pay tribute to the model and its legendary origins, Ford decided to bid it farewell with a special farewell ceremony-inspired by the 1967 GT Mk IV Le Mans racing car driven by Dan Gurney and A.J. Voith. To this end, Ford has injected a race-focused upgrade into this extremely rare model (only 67 hand-built units at $1.7 million each). Highlights include: increased engine displacement, expected power to exceed 800 horsepower (originally 660 horsepower), redesigned body, extended wheelbase, newly adjusted suspension system, and equipped with a racing gearbox. If you think this car may not be suitable for the road, you are right-it is not designed for the street and cannot be used legally. The only place you can drive it is the track.
