G70

Genesis worked quickly to establish itself as a genuine competitor to more established premium models in 2017. Its smallest four-door, the G70, is somewhat of a luxury-sports-sedan wunderkind. Its 300-hp four-cylinder and 365-hp V-6 engines both provide the G70 with enough gumption to put it in the same performance league as the BMW 3-series, and its posh interior approaches Mercedes-Benz C-class levels of comfort. With an excellent ride-and-handling balance, the G70 is a blast on snaking tarmac and agreeable on long stretches of highway. With both athleticism and accouterments aplenty, the G70 does a formidable job of giving the sporty and luxurious sides of its personality equal treatment at a price point that its old-guard competition can't beat.
