If all of Lincoln's SUVs have one thing in common, it's their ability to pamper. That extends to even the entry-level Corsair compact SUV that, while the baby of the bunch, packs a lot of luxury into a tiny footprint. Its interior is plush, and so is its ride; even its handsome sheetmetal is sophisticated and vaguely European. Most Corsair buyers will find that the base 250-hp turbocharged four-cylinder provides adequate gumption to either the front or all four wheels, but those looking for a little more can opt for the Corsair Hybrid, which we review separately. In its quest for unadulterated luxury, the Corsair forfeits almost all driving verve. Rivals like BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Porsche Macan are better picks if driver engagement is what you're after.
