Cayenne E-Hybrid

With the Cayenne E-Hybrid, Porsche had the difficult task of creating a plug-in-hybrid SUV that lived up to marque’s illustrious reputation for building some of the quickest and best handling performance cars in the world. And while the Cayenne E-Hybrid will never be a 911 or 718 Cayman, it does a good job of translating Porsche’s sporty spirit into a roomy and well-appointed electrified crossover. With either a turbocharged V-6 or a twin-turbo V-8 plug-in powertrain to choose from, speed isn’t an issue for any of the Cayenne hybrid’s trims. Its rear tailgate lifts to expose a commendable amount of cargo space for a vehicle of its type and its cabin is elegant and finely crafted. If a traditional mid-size SUV body style isn’t to your taste, the Cayenne hybrid is also offered as a sloped-back E-Hybrid coupe, with a sleeker silhouette that better matches its athletic character.
