Bolt EUV

The 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV follows the chassis of a regular Bolt EV hatchback, but the shell has been redesigned to look more like an SUV-of course because American consumers have a soft spot for SUV models. Chevrolet equipped this EUV with a 65-kilowatt-hour battery pack and a cruising range of 247 miles. This would have been eye-catching a few years ago, but now it's nothing. EUV's 200-horsepower electric motor drives only the front wheels, performs fairly well, and it is not built for off-road at all-which is on par with many competitors in its class. After all, electric SUVs like Hyundai Kona Electric, Ford Mustang Mach-E and Tesla Model Y can actually climb rocks. Bolt EUV has the upper hand in terms of technological configuration: the top-of-the-line Premier version can optionally include the universal Super Cruise hands-free driving function. The recent price cuts have also given its starting price more advantageous in the market segment, and the starting prices of other competing products are higher. However, some rivals still receive a $7500 federal tax credit, but Chevrolet is not included. In other words, whether this car is cost-effective or not depends on which other electric vehicles you have on your alternative list.
