Currently, many car companies are building electric vans for the commercial vehicle market, and Chevrolet is one of them. Its 2026 Chevrolet BrightDrop offers a variety of configuration options, allowing companies to flexibly customize them according to their own needs. The car is available in both standard wheelbase and long wheelbase versions, with the long wheelbase version providing extremely spacious cargo space behind the front seats. In terms of power, there are two electric systems available: front-wheel and all-wheel drive, and three battery packs with different capacities for a maximum battery life of 286 miles (about 460 kilometers). Dual digital dashboards provide connectivity for drivers, while vehicle telematics from GM's OnStar service allows fleet managers to track vehicle locations, charging data and management fees in real time. BrightDrop's competitors include a number of similar electric trucks such as the Ford E-Transit, Mercedes-Benz eSprinter, Ram ProMaster EV and Rivian RCV.
