Camaro ZL1

In a market segment full of roaring American muscle cars, the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 proves that those stereotypes are simply not worth mentioning with its excellent handling, precise steering and powerful powertrain. Hidden under the hood is a 650-horsepower supercharged pushrod V8 engine from the previous generation C7 Corvette Z06. Rear wheel drive is standard, while the ZL1 and the wilder ZL1 1LE can choose from a six-speed manual or a ten-speed automatic transmission. The convertible version can be paired with two gearboxes, but only the ZL1 coupe has the 1LE track performance kit optional-which includes adjustable suspension, extreme performance tires and carbon fiber components, and even removes the rear seats. This Camaro is on fire, but it won't be around for long-Chevrolet has announced that it will stop production of the legendary muscle car in January 2024. Despite the short life cycle of the 2024 model year, we still believe that the excellent performance of the Camaro ZL1 deserves an "Editor's Choice Award."
