When discussing the two-seater Fiat 124 Spider convertible-a revival of the 124 's name from the 1960s and 1970s-it is inevitable to compare it with the Mazda MX-5 Miata, developed on the same platform. The unique feature of the 124 Spider is that it draws on the design elements of the original model, making its appearance significantly different from the Miata. From the perspective of driving experience, Fiat is more relaxed and comfortable than Mazda: additional sound insulation measures effectively reduce the noise inside the car, the interior materials are more advanced, the turbocharged engine is more powerful, and the trunk space is slightly larger.
