Before the advent of shooting games like Call of Duty, people were obsessed with movable dolls like Special Forces and hard-core screen heroes like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Arnold became governor of California all the way from a movie star, and the military Humvee H1 he drove in the movie seemed to follow the smell of his cigars into the community of ordinary people. General Motors bought the Hummer brand from AM General, designed its own H2 and a smaller H3, and parachuted directly into the SUV market. Hummer once owned independent dealerships, but as the blood-boiling SUV craze in the United States rose and fell, it eventually cooled down during the oil crisis of the late 2000s. Sales fell and the Hummer brand officially stopped production in 2010. However, the Hummer story doesn't end there-like Arnold's classic line,"I'll be back," GM really brought it back: resurrected Hummer under GMC as a new electric sub-brand. The new GMC Hummer EV inherits the huge physique and exaggerated off-road capabilities of its predecessors, and bursts out of 1000 horsepower without drinking a drop of gasoline.
