VinFast is a new player who has just entered the global market. The Singapore-based Vietnam carmaker started with electric scooters and quickly expanded into SUVs, and its ambitions have expanded with the product's size-it has purchased more than 2000 acres of land in Chatham County, North Carolina, where it plans to build a local factory. Currently, the company sells two all-electric SUVs in the United States: the two-row VF8 and the larger three-row VF9. Two smaller SUVs-the VF6 and the VF7-are said to be in development.
